Mashhad and the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) as the symbol of spirituality in the world are outstanding”, said Slovakia Deputy Prime minister.
The economic and commercial delegation of Slovakia in its travel to Mashhad paid a visit to the central museums and carpet museum of Astan Quds Razavi as well as the historical courtyards and Dar al-Hujjah portico of the Holy Shrine.
Peter Kažimír, Slovakia Deputy Prime minister and Minister of Finance, as the chief member of the delegation remarked, “This holy place displays a discourse that ties the history to the contemporary age and this is amazing that ancient objects with over 2 millenniums oldness have been put beside the latest modern equipment of the world, all aiming at serving the visitors of this holy place.”
Noting that the works remaining from the skillful masters and artists in the museums attract any visitor, Peter Kažimír added, “Mashhad has had an exalted destiny that has reached such a sanctity and I believe that God loved Mashhad dearly that has favored it specially.”
“My country also has a historical oldness with its particular architecture. The historical art of this country is focused on crystal and glasswork and this is an ancient art also in my country. We would be happy to dedicate our traditional crystal and glass to this celestial and beautiful complex someday”, said Slovakia Deputy Prime minister.
It is notable that Sayed Ahmad Hashemabadi, supervisor of General Public Relations Office of Astan Quds Razavi gave some explanations over the history and architecture of the Holy Shrine and performances of Astan Quds Razavi in different domains.
